This shot was taken at sunset on the same day as my Main Strike photo, on my birthday, August 1st, in Summer 2016. My friend and i had watched the storm for nearly 5 hours as it made its way towards the Grand Canyon. At sunset it intensified and let loose an incredible light show. In 20 years of storm chasing i have never seen anything like it since.
